Mr. Cornet, a native of Roselle, Illinois, having served in the U.S. Navy, is a service officer
with the Illinois Dept. of Veterans Affairs. The mission of the IDVA mission is to empower
veterans and their families to thrive by helping them find available Federal, State, and local
resources and benefits, and partners with other agencies and non-profits to help veterans
address educational, mental health, housing, employment, and other challenges in the civilian world
