The Golden Era at The Washington Post withg prize-winning journalist Bob Levey

February 7, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST

Prize-winning journalist Bob Levey will be the featured speaker.

Many readers will remember Levey’s long-running and popular column of 23 years, published in The Washington Post. Levey will talk about “The Golden Era at The Washington Post,” under the leadership of executive editor Ben Bradlee and publisher Katharine Graham. He will provide insights and recollections about Watergate, the Pentagon Papers, the great political reporters of that era, and much more. Levey’s column looked at all aspects of life in the nation’s capital. It won major awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Washington Journalism Review. Currently, he writes a monthly column for Senior Beacon Newspapers.

Seven times, Bob Levey was named one of the most popular columnists in Washington by Washingtonian magazine for his Post column. Earlier in his 36-year career at The Post, Bob Levey covered Presidential politics, Congress, local news, and sports
