Speaker: Peter Rosenbluth – Producer of documentaries about Jews in modern history
Peter K. Rosenbluth’s Hungarian family has a long military tradition. He produces documentaries about Jews in modern history,
such as “The Jewish 48’ers” connecting their battle for emancipation during the failed 1848 Revolutions to emigration to America
and their later role in our Civil War. His current project portrays the role of Jewish WWI veterans who fought for Germany and
Austria-Hungary, and their tragic fate in the Holocaust. Peter strongly believes these projects successfully challenge traditional
anti-semitic cliches against the patriotism and ability of European Jewish soldiers, and honors our forebearers by publicizing their stories
