Countering Active Threat Training for Jewish War Veterants of the United States

This critical training will introduce the concepts of run, hide, fight in a manner that is both easy to understand and easy to apply for all members of our community. Understanding that survival during these incidents is a planned response and by committing to action we can empower ourselves are among the key concepts for this course. Participants will learn how to:
Identify and explain the steps to survive an active shooter incident: RUN, HIDE, FIGHT.
Understand how to prepare for an active threat event.
Know how to respond to law enforcement’s arrival.
Recognize the importance of additional trainings such as “Stop the Bleed.”
Be able to Commit to Action during an active threat event.
