JWV Condemns Alleged Spy

Spring 2008

The Jewish War Veterans of the USA (JWV) condemns in no uncertain terms the alleged activities of Ben-Ami Kadish, arrested as a spy. Mr. Kadish has been arrested and will be arraigned on charges of passing classified information to the Israeli government when he worked as an engineer at the U.S. Army's research arsenal in Dover, NJ, in the early 1980s.

JWV National Commander Lawrence Schulman has ordered the immediate suspension of Mr. Kadish from membership and from positions or titles, and he has instigated court-martial proceedings to remove him from the JWV.

As Commander Schulman has made clear, "There is no place in our organization for those who would seek to defend the interests of any country above those of the United States. The alleged actions of Mr. Kadish must be condemned in the harshest of terms."

The Jewish War Veterans of the USA is proud to represent a tradition of patriotism and service to America and is honored to be known as the "Patriotic Voice of American Jewry."

Our members have fought for and in many cases, made the ultimate sacrifice in, the defense of the United States, and we are proud to represent all veterans who have served in the protection of our country.

The government of the United States must be protected at all times. The loyalty of United States citizens must be to our own country. There can be no room for any other allegiance.
