A Road Map To Oblivion

   The Iraqi War is winding down, Saddam and his loyalists have been driven out of office, there will be a regime change, weapons of mass destruction will be destroyed and attempts are being put into place to make Iraq whole and “free” under the guidance of an American coordinator, who will now face free Iraqis who want the U.S. out so that they can return to their ethnic conflicts of Sunni vs. Shite vs. Kurd vs. Christian.

   So the U.S. considers the next step in attaining a terrorist free democracy in the Middle East is to attack the Jew using a “Road Map” which ignores the festering curse underlying the Arab Regional psyche.  The United States is doing all of this without demanding or securing the guarantee of minimal positive performance or evenhandedness on the part of our Quartet “partners”.

   Understand that the Road Map came from the fertile minds of a gang know as the “Quartet”.  They are a group of nations who should have been America’s “allies” in the Iraq war.  There is [1.] the European Union [Rumsfeld referred to them as “Old Europe” led by France and Germany] - [2.] the United Nations [which joyfully turned against the United States] - [3.] the Russian Federation which with France is owed billions of dollars by Iraq and which, together with France, Germany and China, threatened to veto the American, British and Spanish U.N. Resolution, and, of course, let us not forget [4.] the United States which is considered by all of the others as being totally arrogant, immoral and a bully which seeks to impose democracy in the Region.

   So, the plan really consists of secondarily implanting democracy into the Region, while initially pressuring Israel into accepting a nonnegotiable Road Map of two nations and no settlements.  The U.S. appears to have determined in favor of an American pursuit for inclusion back into international acceptance favorable to the foreign Middle East control freaks - all of whom have gone out of their way to promote and make sure that there is and will be an Anti-American environment throughout the world for what we are and for our striking out against terror and its invidious servants without United Nations consent.

   Thus, in addition to American deliverance of Israel, it should have been incumbent that the United States have further considered that freedom and democracy in Iraq and in the Region must also encompass:

   An Acknowledgment by the World Community that the United States is in a war to achieve Post 9/11 security from terrorism and control over weapons of mass destruction to benefit America and the World.

   A recognition that “Satan America”  will never become “Beloved America” principally after we screwed Saddam’s opposition after Gulf War I by sitting on our hands while he struck down the Christians, Kurds and Shites in our diplomatic Saddam peace process.                            

The withdrawal of Syrian forces from Lebanon liberating  them finally from Syrian control and subservience.                            

A requirement that the Saudis, Arabians, Iranians, Yemeni, Palestinians and the other Islamic Fundamentalists fully disclose the results of investigations of all of the Saudis who murdered Americans on September 11th and to enforce the sanction of terrorist attacks, the elimination of terrorist funding     and training camps and to fully exchange any and all intelligence information on terrorists and their plans.

The recognition and acceptance of the fact that the European,  Russian and Chinese opposition is grounded in desire for economic dominance in the Region. The United States will only secure their support after total victory by assuring them that they and the United Nations are not left out of the Regional profit center. Hopefully we will stick to our guns in demanding debt   forgivenesses of existing Iraqi obligations by France, Russia and other  foreign nations.

   The “Road Map” is offered up on the altar ignoring the consequences imposed by the grant of sovereignty and all which that concept encompasses to a new nation whose main export to date has been and is terrorism with the destruction of the State of Israel.  It expands the concept of a free world where everyone, other than the Jew, is at liberty to determine where they want to live in peace.  The reality of it all is the creation of a new ghetto nation called Israel.

   Everyone has their own version of a Road Map to peace or, at least, coexistence.  I’ve had mine for well over thirty years.  It is the simple concept of a Confederation of Israel, Palestine and Jordan.  Being individual cantons, without constraints on where to live, mutual defense understandings, and an economic and ethnic acceptance by standing together with each other - it will take understanding and education - but really doesn’t everything?

   If the Road Map is to be nonnegotiable and simultaneously pursued by each of the parties, it will have demonstrated, without question, that Bush’s statement that “You are either with us or you’re against us” has become a meaningless and vacuous bit of rhetorical nonsense.  It nullifies whatever trust you can have in his word.  Sort of wish, he was another Shane, rather than ending up as a policeman and an unintended foil for the world’s pleasure and security.

   America’s blood is too precious to waste in an international shell game and, far too precious to waste in a return to an international status quo.
