- JWV is a strong and united organization after the convention
- Everyone enjoyed the facilities in Charleston
- At 2008 convention in Pittsburgh all facilities will be within hotel
- Constitution mandates that NEC meet twice yearly—meets March and at Convention
- Organization would lose money if convention were to be shortened
- Resolutions passed at convention will be posted on website soon
- JWV membership list is proprietary information not be given out without express permission of individual member
- Prospective resolutions should come up to National from State Departments
- Draft resolutions are not posted on web site to avoid possible confusion of people thinking they are final
- One major purpose of National Convention is to get people together
- Policy committee meets at March NEC
- New National Commander hopes to visit Departments across the country
