- Work in VA hospitals excellent way to get publicity for JWV
- Activities sponsored by JWV in VA Hospitals include raffles, bingo, pizza parties, ice cream socials, participation in stand-downs, donation of Christmas presents for patients
- There is also participation in volunteer efforts to help families of patients in some Posts, in addition to helping the patients themselves
- Department of CT adopting room in transitional housing being developed adjacent to VA Hospital
- Some JWV Posts also participate at military hospitals if they are in their area
- JWV VAVS volunteers at West Palm Beach VAMC were cited for their excellent attendance as volunteers
- JWV volunteers do an excellent job of volunteering throughout the country
