  • Since Tree of Honor has been completely filled, 200 leaves have been added and are now available to be purchased
  • Museum is trying to send as many communications by e-mail to save money; please send e-mail addresses to Mary Westley () so they can be added to database
  • Museum has hosted and has plans to host extensive schedule of programs

    • March 22 - Polish teachers on State Department tour
    • Marc. 25 - Book-signing, David Laskin, The Long Way Home
    • April 15 - Program for Holocaust Remembrance Day in conjunction with Jewish Study Center featuring Bernhard Storch and Alan Moskin
    • Tribute to Dads and Zaydes in conjunction with Jewish Study Center and Dupont-Kalorama Museum Consortium
    • July (tentative) - Noontime notes with Dr. Jeffrey Greenhut

  • Museum has at least 2 large tours a month
  • Post certificate program chaired by Hannah Deutch has earned almost $800 to date; program needs additional publicity
  • Since start of Yahrzeit Candle program in November, about 72 names have been entered; average donation to date approximately $20/letter

    • Will send candles to all names for Yom Kippur
    • Separate program from NMAJMH Yahrzeit program

  • If museum has a Facebook page, it will be necessary to have staff to update it
  • Will explore possibility of having satellite exhibit at National Museum of American Jewish History currently construction in Philadelphia

    • Important not to lose NMAJMH identity if undertake project with new museum

  • Any project undertaken by museum must have members to follow through, or projects will not be successful
