Subject: What will the JWV look like in the year 2020?
- Suggestion to look beyond a ten year plan.
- Bob has secured JWV the host position for Veterans day in 2021which is the 125th anniversary of JWV
- A better understanding of how to bring in new members must occur. Suggestion to have posts that are growing speak to how they have brought in new members.
- Membership committee should work to decide on what programs and events can spur new membership.
- Discussion on the new online membership post. Emphasis on introducing an online post for younger generations.

- Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
http://www.esgr.org This program is run through a sub agency of the Department of Defense. The program seeks to promote a culture in which all American employers support and value the military service of their employees. It recognizes outstanding support, increases awareness of the law, and resolves conflicts between employers and service members through mediation.
- Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces
http://www.employerpartnership.org This Department of Defense program is designed to provide service members with access to job openings with military-friendly employers. Service members can leverage their military training and experience for career opportunities in today's civilian job market with national, regional and local employers.
- Maxwell Colon has been very active at the Camp Pendleton hospital. He has leveraged regular contract and events into membership development. At the Change of Command Ceremony in July, he was seated with the hospital VIP's.
