Subject: Israel and the Allied Mission to Israel--Your opportunity to be part of it
- Background on Allied Veterans Mission
- Has been going on for 20 years
- Different from trips sponsored by other Jewish groups that were targeted to influentials and conducted by professionals
- Allied Vets Mission is led by members of JWV, and participants are chosen by and paid for by various departments
- Present concept of Israel to non-Jewish members of other vets organizations who have a different perspective and will be listened to closely as advocates for Israel when they return
- Trip price of $2450 includes all but personal expenses
- 9 full days of sightseeing with English-speaking guide, including one night in a kibbutz
- Trips diverge over 3-day period to include Christian sites for Allied vets
- Hope that Allied vets will speak about Israel to their own and other organizations and become advocates
